You may think there is no hope for you.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Jesus wants to give you a fresh start and offer you forgiveness.  Here is what you will need to do to receive that forgiveness and remove the guilt you may be feeling

Admit ~ Confess to God that you are a sinner

Repent, turning away from your sin.

Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Acts 3:19

Believe ~ Place your faith in Jesus as God’s Son and accept Jesus’ gift of forgiveness from sin.

Romans 5:8; Acts 4:12; John 3:16; John 14:6

Commit ~ Give your life to Jesus.

Ask Him to be your Saviour and Lord.

Romans 10:9-10; Romans 10:13; Luke 9:23

A Simple Prayer ~ “Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and have displeased You in many ways.  I believe You died for my sin and only through faith in Your death and resurrection can I be forgiven.  I want to turn from my sin and ask You to come into my life as my Savior and Lord.  From this day on, I will follow You by living a life that pleases you.  Thank You, Lord Jesus, for loving and forgiving me.  Amen.”

After you have asked Jesus Christ into your life, tell a Christian friend and talk with one of our pastors.  It is very important that you talk with someone right away.  You’ll find there are others who will love and support you here at BFUMC.
